The type of firearm and whether or not you're direct mounting or using an adapter plate to mount your DPP will affect what type of screw you'll need for a secure mount. The factory screw (0.625) may not always suit your needs. Whereas even our short screw is slightly longer than the factory ones with more threads to ensure a positive and secure mount. Our custom designed long and short screws are sold individually to tailor to your needs and application.
