Love azaleas but want something a little extra? Try Azalea Pink Ruffle! This bright pink bloomer features double flowers with ruffled, frilly petals, dark green leaves, and a more compact form. While it flowers strongly in the spring, it may also have a lighter bloom later in the fall season. Add it to your favorite larger container plantings as the focal point, or plant it in large groupings or borders for more impact. In the harsh Texas sun, Pink Ruffle will thrive the best when given dappled sun or shade conditions, but those in slightly cooler climates should plan to plant it in fuller sun to enjoy robust flowering and ample foliage. Plan to give it regular, deep watering during the first growing season to help it get established, then aim to keep the soil evenly moist after that. Pink Ruffle serves up a bright punch of color in the spring garden with relatively low demands, definitely earning its keep.
